Dear participants of MINEX Kazakhstan 2020 Forum

Due to the rapid spread of coronavirus, the Forum secretariat is forced to postpone the dates of the MINEX Kazakhstan forum to 10-12 November 2020. Before making this difficult decision, we carefully monitored the updates of the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of the countries presented at the Forum, the news from the World Health Organisation and measures taken by various Governments and companies. Today, we cannot be certain that in the remaining before the start of the Forum time, the government of Kazakhstan will not prohibit citizens of “high risk group” countries from entering the country; or will not order all arrivals from “high risk” countries to pass mandatory quarantine; or will not simply prohibit any large international events (details are published on the website of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan). Against the backdrop of the spread of coronavirus, many companies already prohibit their employees from traveling and participating in any events. Most likely, the majority (if not all) companies and organisations will follow this example soon. Therefore, in the interests of all participants and to ensuring a high professional level of the Forum, we decided to postpone the Forum until 10-12 November 2020. The program with the new dates and confirmed speakers will be updated on the Forum website shortly.

Over the course of this week, we will send personal letters to each registered forum participant confirming their registration for new dates and providing additional details.
